your YEAR-END GIFT will TRANSFORM lives LIKE ALIMO’s!
Alimo is just 13 years old. She came to ChildVoice’s Lukome Center as part of Class 17 earlier this year.
Alimo’s mother was her only family. In January of this year, her mother was killed by her stepfather when he became violent during a heated argument. The next day, Alimo’s stepfather threatened to kill her as well. Thankfully, she escaped and found refuge with a stranger, who brought her to local police.
Today, Alimo is just beginning to learn new life-transforming skills at ChildVoice’s Lukome Center. Skills like hairdressing and tailoring. “ChildVoice is my family now,” she says. Her story is one of horrific violence and tragic loss – but also one of hope. You can help restore that hope for her, and so many other war-affected exploited young people.
Your one-time gift will help make possible our residential program serving Ugandan and South Sudanese girls (as well as their children) at the Lukome Center in Uganda; our community-based program serving South Sudanese and Congolese girls at Imvepi Refugee Center in northern Uganda; and our community-based program serving Nigerian girls and boys at IDP camps in northern Nigeria.
We offer two ways to give monthly:
Become a Partner in Hope through our Amplified Program. It’s an excellent way for committed donors to provide an ongoing stream of support for the adolescent girls we serve — and their children!
As a Naomi Godparent, you can support one specific girl and forge loving bonds that last a lifetime.
In addition to making a one-time donation or becoming a monthly Partner in Hope, you can donate to a featured appeal or project, include ChildVoice in your legacy planning, give stock and securities, and even donate your old car or motorcycle!
To donate by mail, write checks out to “ChildVoice” and send to 202 Kent Place, Newmarket, NH 03857
To make a stock or securities gift, please contact info@childvoice.org for more information.
