  • Founder & President

A lifetime of designing programs for at-risk populations led Conrad to the war-devastated region of northern Uganda in 2006. When challenged by the trauma and reintegration problems that former child soldiers and other abductees were experiencing upon their return home, Conrad launched ChildVoice, a program to provide healing and restoration for war-affected children.

As ChildVoice’s Founder and President, Conrad’s work today focuses on expanding our programs in Uganda and Nigeria while exploring new opportunities in other conflict regions around the world.

Conrad is an avid cyclist who has ridden fifteen times across the state of Iowa -- more than 7,500 miles -- to promote ChildVoice and its work with war-affected children. When not working or riding, Conrad and his wife raise Highland cattle and quarter horses on their farm in New Hampshire.

  • Chief Executive Officer

As CEO, Nathan's passion is to see a diverse community of people united in the purpose of bringing hope and healing to those marginalized in the world. He believes deeply that together we can see lives rescued from the horrors caused by war and communities transformed into places of safety and hope. Nathan's 25 years of experience in cross-cultural ministry and program development, workforce development and job training for under-resourced populations, and collaborative solutions to solve complex issues are essential in facing the global challenges surrounding war and conflict.

Over the past 20 years Nathan has also been involved in his local church - serving in various leadership, preaching, and missions roles.

Nathan has been associated with ChildVoice from the very beginning, accompanying his father, ChildVoice founder Conrad Mandsager, on the first exploratory trip to northern Uganda in 2006 when the rebel army was still engaged in humanitarian atrocities in the region. Nathan’s passion for the mission of restoring the voices of children silenced by war has allowed him to play a role with ChildVoice in a variety of ways over the years: leading mission teams, engaging partners, fundraising, board leadership, and now serving as CEO.

In his free time, Nathan enjoys hiking with his wife in the Adirondacks and mountains beyond and spending time with their two children.
