Last week we announced the upcoming publication of Enduring the Night: Courageous Stories of Survival by Former Girl Soldiers. This book, compiled and edited by former ChildVoice interns, features the stories of several Lukome Centre graduates who were abducted as children by the Lord’s Resistance Army. These harrowing first-hand accounts of survival highlight the devastating plight of the girl soldier.
We need your help to raise $15,000 to cover the publication costs for Enduring the Night. We’ve launched a Kickstarter campaign to make it easy for you to support for this groundbreaking project. The first 50 donors who pledge $25 or more will receive a free copy of the book. For pledges of $50 or more, additional incentives are available. All proceeds from the sales of this book will go directly to ChildVoice.
